AN EXCLUSIVE PAIR OF COLOURED DIAMOND AND DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS Each suspending a pear-shaped fancy brownish yellow diamond weighing approximately 28.65 and 28.27 carats, surmounted by a cushion-shaped diamond weighing approximately 0.94 carat and an old mine-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.86 carat, mounted in 18k rose gold, 4.7 cm long Accompanied by report no. 1142780129 and 1142777313 dated 27 December 2012 and 18 June 2012 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 28.65 and 28.27 carat diamonds are fancy brownish yellow, natural colour, VS1 clarity Also accompanied by a supplemental letter from the Gemological Institute of America stating the 28.65 and 28.27 carat diamonds have been determined to be type IIa. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency. Type IIa diamonds were first identified as originating from India (particularly from the Golconda region) but have since been recovered in all major diamond-producing regions of the world. Among famous gem diamonds, the 530.20 carat Cullinan and the 105.60 carat Koh-i-noor, are examples of Type IIa Two reports nos. 1142921875 and 6147880788 dated 23 January 2013 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 0.94 and 0.86 carat diamonds are E colour, VS2 clarity (2)
