AN IMPORTANT GERMAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER NEF MARK OF ABRAHAM WINTERSTEIN, AUGSBURG, 1624-30 Modelled as a ship on four wheels, the hull chased with foliage on a matted ground, the deck applied with three standing cast figures and a further figure seated on an elaborate chair, the silver sail engraved with a coat-of-arms and fruit and flowers, with elaborate rigging and capped with a flag, marked on the bow of the hull and on sail 8 in. (20.25 cm) wide 12 in. (30.5 cm) high 12 oz. (380 gr.) The arms are those of an unidentified family impaling those of Egger of Burghausen in Bavaria.
