AN IMPRESSIVE ANTIQUE EMERALD AND DIAMOND PENDENT NECKLACE Designed as a series of cushion-shaped or rectangular-cut emeralds, each held by collets and within an old mine-cut diamond floral motif surround, the central three clusters suspending detachable emerald and diamond pendants, to the diamond swag intersections (one small diamond deficient, accompanied by brooch fittings for central cluster, side two clusters may be worn as detachable ear pendants and accompanied by extra diamond segment), circa 1860, 39.5 cm., in a Bulgari brown leather fitted case Retailed by Bulgari circa 1960 With certificate 36608 dated 18 December 2000 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that three of the emeralds are of Colombian origin and the clarity is enhanced by oil. Extent of enhancement moderate and minor (4)
