Bone, Army Gymnastic Staff, late King's Royal Rifle Corps and Royal Engineers QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA 1899-1902, 4 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Johannesburg, Belfast (20339 Q.M. Sjt., R.E.); 1914-15 STAR (Q.M. & Lieut., K.R. Rif. C.); BRITISH WAR AND VICTORY MEDALS (Q.M. & Lieut.); ARMY L.S. & G.C., E.VII.R. (Supt. Clk., R.E.) toned very fine and better (5) Footnote The group is accompanied by a quantity of original documents and photographs including several of the recipient, one during the Boer War, and a fine one of General Sir Ian Hamilton autographed 'For Captn. F. Bone-From Ian Hamilton his friend of many years standing.'; two Christmas cards from Ian Hamilton both signed, 1939 and 1943; Army Gymnastic Staff certificate to Captain F.D. Bone, for valuable services rendered to the Country during the War as an instructor of Physical and Bayonet Training, 1st April, 1919; a quantity of articles written by Bone whilst employed as a journalist in London.
