AN IRISH GEORGE II GILT-GESSO AND GILTWOOD CONSOLE TABLE CIRCA 1750 The moulded rectangular top decorated with foliate arabesques above a Vitruvian-scroll and lion mask frieze with eagle-headed squared cabriole legs and paw feet, inscribed 'B' on the back rail, regilt, the top apparently original, the top and base formerly but not originally with approx. 2 in. cuts to the reverse probably to fit a niche 30½ in. (77.5 cm.) high; 40 in. (101.5 cm.) wide; 24 in. (61 cm.) deep
