Title: Archive of hundreds of flight records for an aviator and airline pilot from the 1940s to the 1970s Author: Place: Various places Publisher: Date: c.1941-75 Description: Forms filled out in ink or pencil, plus other miscellaneous papers, letters, etc.. Sizes vary. Most loose. Captain Allan Adams records what must have been every flight he ever took, even when deadheading, giving the airports, distances, time, flight minutes, pay minutes, etc. There are also a number of paystubs. Preceding his life as an airline pilot Adams few in the Army Air Force in World War II, and some of the material covers that period, including his diploma from the Air Corps Training Center at Brooks Field, Texas, from which he graduated December 11, 1941. A fascinating glimpse into the day-by-day activity of a commercial airline pilot in the post-WWII era, and the crucible of combat during which he, like so may others, received his training. Lot Amendments Condition: Varying amounts of wear, sold as is. Item number: 308859
