Assembled Pair of Tiffany Studios Bronze and Favrile Glass Candlesticks First quarter of the 20th century Each bulb-form bobeche decorated with seven protruding iridescent glass 'jewels', on bulging attenuated ribbed leaf-form legs ending in lion paw feet ending in a stepped square platform, removable metal insert; one example stamped S691 TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1201; the other example stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 10050. Height 10 7/8 inches. C
Each appears to be in generally good condition; typical discoloration, scratching and dulling to the patina particularly in the areas where melted wax had to be removed; some minor nicks, not of any consequence; the glass "jewels" appear to be in good condition and original; one glass "jewel" has internally trapped air bubbles; another has some cloudy streaks; one has lost a fair amount of the iridescence resulting in a bluish appearance as compared to the others, which have a gold appearance; each retains its removable insert
