(Paris, Apud Petrum Regnault) 1543. Small 8vo (160x97). 111, (1) ll. With woodcut portrait of the author on title page, 1 table and 81 woodcut illustrations, of which 37 chiromancy hands and 27 astrological diagrams. Contemporary blindstamped calf, worn and rebacked. Bookplate. Old inscription on title. Some minor staining, two small wormholes in margin of title and first text leaf. John ab Indagine (or von Hagen), a German priest, combines in this work astrology with physiognomy and chiromancy. First edition was published in 1531.
