Rare and important edition, enlarged compared to the first. Here, in fact, there are 48 geographic maps, while in the first one only 31, and two new chapters "Descrittione dell'Istria" and "Descrittione isola d'Elandia, isola de Gotti" are added respect the previous editions. The engravings are by Girolamo Porro and depict the most famous islands: Iceland, the Hebrides and Orkney Islands, Gotland, Ireland, England, Scotland, Holland, Selandie Islands, Mallorca, Menorca, Corsica, Elba, Sardinia, Sicily, Malta, Venice , the archipelago of the Greek islands, Corfu, Echinadi Islands (Curzolari), image of the Battle of Lepanto, Kefalonia, Zakynthos, the Peloponnese (Morea), Cythera (Cerigo), Crete, Karpathos (Karpathos), Rhodes, Santorini, Milos, Naxos (Nicsia), Chio (Scio), Lesbos (Metellino), Constantinople, Lemnos (Lenno), Euboea (Negroponte), Cyprus, map of Mexico City, map of the center and North America (new world), Santo Domingo, Cuba, Jamaica, S.
