Autograph letter addressed to Matthew Bruccoli and signed by Larry McMurtry Author: McMurtry, Larry Place: No place Publisher: Date: 1973 Description: Typescript ALS by Larry McMurtry. 28x21.6 cm (11x8½"). Autograph letter signed by Larry McMurtry agreeing to join an advisory board for a collecting guide to contemporary writers. McMurtry suggests that Professor Charles Peavey do his bibliographical checklist and suggests other writers to be covered including Edward Abbey, Thomas Berger William Eastlake, David Stacton, and Terry Southern. Matthew Joseph Bruccoli (1931–2008) was an American professor of English at the University of South Carolina. He was the preeminent expert on F. Scott Fitzgerald. He also wrote about other writers, notably Ernest Hemingway, Thomas Wolfe and John O'Hara, and was editor of the Dictionary of Literary Biography and the Pittsburgh Series in Bibliography. Lot Amendments Condition: Sheet toned somewhat; very good. Item number: 326098
