In 1939 he sang in the musical comedy The Geisha Sidney Jones at the Teatro Beniamino Gigli Civitanova Marche (now Teatro Rossini). He participated in the historic events: one for all, the first performance in modern times of the aforementioned Turkish in Italy, October 22, 1950 at the Teatro Argentina in Rome, Gianandrea Gavazzeni, with Maria Callas and Mariano Stabile. Since the sixties stood out even in brand bel canto repertoire and dramatic: remarkable were the Alfonso of Castile La Favorita, Zurga Les pêcheurs de perles and other Verdi characters.
