BALTIC MEDAL, 1854-1855 (T. Holderness, Ord. 2 Cl. H.M. _ Cornwallis); contemporary engraved naming. Lightly toned, minor edge bruise at 8 o’clock, nearly very fine. Ordinary Seaman Thomas Holderness, of Kirkham, Lancashire, appears to have been discharged from HMS Waterloo at Sheerness 13 August 1856, and had previously worked as a Carpenter.
