Condition : paper label rubbed with some surface loss; rubberstamp on ownership page. first edition, first printing with publisher’s advertisement on verso of half-title page listing titles through The Patchwork Girl of Oz . This story was based on the moderately successful 1913 musical extravaganza The Tik-Tok Man of Oz . Baum thought the highlight of the Oz Book was the two different Maps of Oz on the endpapers. They were dropped along with the 12 color plates after 1935.
