By I.B. Preacher of the Word of God . London: Adam Islip for Thomas Man, 1600. Small 8° (132 x 86mm). Collation: A-P 8 . (Running title occasionally shaved; minute worming in quires H-K; slight paper fault in O1 without loss.) 19th-century blind-stamped calf. Provenance : W. Bayntun, Grays Inn (early 19th-century signature on fly-leaf); Bute bookplate. ONLY EDITION, one of two issues published that year. A particularly fervent attack on the Catholic Church. STC 1596.5, the only copy recorded. (For the other issue, STC 1596, 8 copies are listed.)
