Collation: a 1 0 b-x 8 y 1 0 A-Y 8 Z 1 0 1-4 8 (a1r blank, a1v letter by Franciscus Moneliensis, a2r prologue of Jerome and Bible text, Z10r colophon, Z10v blank, 1/1r-4/7v Interpretationes Hebraicorum nominum , 4/8r register, 4/8v blank). 398 leaves. 58 lines and headline, double column, 3 cols. in the Interpretationes . Type: 7:78G, 9:140G, 10:92G. 3-16-line initial spaces, most with printed guide-letters. (Very light occasional browning, very small wormhole in final leaves affecting a few letters.) Early 16th-century Italian brown sheep, blindstamped, with panel outlines stamped in red, (spine repaired), catches on rear cover and one brass corner boss retained, vellum flyleaves from a 12th-century Italian MS. of St. Augustine, In Johannis Evangelium . Provenance : Matteo and Leo Morelli, 16th-century inscription "et amicorum". A Fontibus ex Graecis edition, with a new letter by Franciscus Moneliensis added, in which he praises the printer, Johannes Herbort.
