Early 16th-century Italian brown sheep, blindstamped, with panel outlines stamped in red, (spine repaired), catches on rear cover and one brass corner boss retained, vellum flyleaves from a 12th-century Italian MS. of St. Augustine, In Johannis Evangelium .
