Contemporary straight-grained morocco, covers with Greek key roll border, large central oval ornament with green morocco tooled in gilt with the sacred monogram and cross, cherubs' heads, starts, flowers and borders of flame tools, smooth spine in 6 compartments , gilt-lettered in one compartment, a repeated ornamental gilt panel in the rest, gilt edges concealing a DOUBLE FORE-EDGE PAINTING; the first showing CLARE COLLEGE AND JESUS COLLEGE; the second showing DOWNING COLLEGE AND QUEENS COLLEGE, each with their respective coats-of arms (light cracking to inner joints, hinge lightly rubbed, corners lightly bumped).
