A ballad, the first stanza commencing: "One day as with Rinaldo Oliver Did play at chess as sometimes was his use..." Apparently unpublished, not traced in Collie and Fraser, George Borrow A Bibliographical Study . Bookplate of Mary Pinkerton Carlisle. Autograph manuscripts by Borrow are quite rare.
