London: Ackermann, 1851. Broadsheets (598 x 419 mm). Hand-colored lithographed title, letterpress description and 6 hand-colored lithographed plates. Contemporary half morocco, gilt-lettered on upper cover (a bit rubbed, some chips to spine). FIRST EDITION. The Abbey catalogue erroneously states that the first three (of seven) views are embodied in the title. In fact, the title is the first listed, and there are six further individual lithographs, as delineated in the letterpress. Abbey Scenery 244.
