British Commonwealth Balance of Stamps Assortment of approximately six hundred stamps, most of which are Specimen overprints of issues from 1880 to about 1940, along with a smattering of low denomination common values. Some of the highlights include Africa with Gold Coast Scott nos. 34, 35, 95 and various Edward and George V overprinted Specimen, Gambia 1904/09 to 3/- overprinted Specimen, G.B. Offices in Morocco including Scott nos. 57 & 217 overprinted SPECIMEN, Mauritius scattered issues but including Scott nos. 146-151 overprinted, Specimen, Natal nos. 91, 92, 94, 96, 97, overprinted Specimen So. Nigeria nos. 36-43 overprinted Specimen, Nyasaland nos. 1-11 overprinted Specimen, the 10 pounds toned, Togo nos. 66-76 opt Specimen, Zanzibar Scott nos. 99-119 all overprinted Specimen, other countries such as Nigeria, No. Nigeria, Orange River Colony, Sierra Leone, Somaliland, So. Africa have minimal offerings, other areas include Shanghai and Hong Kong including S.G. no. 115 overprinted Specimen, also some Aden, Cyprus with odd value Specimens, St. Helena, Seychelles George V to 5R overprinted Specimen, Lastly we have Iraq, Jordan and Palestine including S.G. 1S overprinted Specimen. Condition is mixed with some staining, overall a good solid group in Good to Very Fine condition with lots of useful stamps. F/VF C
