Broadsides relating to the Tottenham Park Association, for the Protection of Persons and Property, and for the Prosecution of Felons and Other Offenders. Extending over the Parishes of Burbage, Collingbourn Kingston, Collingbourn Ducis, Great Bedwin, Little Bedwin, Shalbourn, Easton, Preshute and Mildenhall, and over Savernake Forest and Park, in the County of Wilts. A collection of printed broadside notices relating to rewards, misdemeanors and felonies, & dates of association meetings etc., 1820-30's, comprising approximately sixty broadsides (including many duplicates), including Five Pounds Reward. Stolen, on Sunday Night, the 25th of August, 1822, The Curtains from a Marquee Belonging to Mr. Halcomb, at the High Trees Farm, in Savernake Forest..., A Reward of Five Pounds from the Solicitor to the Tottenham Park Association; Five Pounds Reward. Stolen, in the Night of Sunday the 22nd of December, 1822, or early in the Morning of the following Day, a Large Quantity of Beef, from a Barn belonging to Mr. Halcomb, at the High Trees Farm, in Savernake Forest..., Reward to be paid by the Solicitor of the Tottenham Park Association, 27th December, 1822; Gipsies and Other Vagrants. By the Rules of the Tottenham Park Association, a Reward of Five Shillings is payable to any Person who shall remove any Camp or Company of Gipsies out of any of the Parishes within the Limits of the said Association...., June 12th, 1824; Felony. Twenty Five Pounds Reward. Whereas the Granary of Mr Anthony Kingston, of Shalbourn... was on the Night of Tuesday the 11th, or of Wednesday the 12th of this instant January, broken open and a large quantity of Wool stolen therfrom..., also a further Reward of Five POunds allowed by the Tottenham Park Association for the Prosecution of Felons..., Shalbourn, January 13th, 1820, plus numerous Tottenham Park Association broadside meeting notices for 1819, 1821-23, 1826-28, 1830, 1832 & 1835 (including many duplicates), all folded, plus approximately 20 late 18th & early 19th century Wiltshire enclosure acts etc. (a small carton)
