One-page of publisher's advertisements at the end but without the errata slip (some very light spotting and browning). Original green cloth decorated in blind with central harp motif to covers, spine lettered in gilt (spine a little discoloured, corners very lightly bumped and rubbed), later green morocco book box. Provenance : textual amendment on p. 101 ('bound' scored through and replaced with 'wound' in an early hand) -- Lizzie Fellows, July 1857 (signature on front free endpaper) -- "Brackenbury" (label).
