Captain Thomas Williamson (1790-1815) and Samuel Howitt (1756-1822) A collection of prints from Oriental Field Sports (Abbey 427, no.s 1-41, lacking no.28, plate XXX) 40 hand-coloured aquatints by H.Merke after Howitt and Williamson, [June 1805-January 1807] from Oriental Field Sports , framed and glazed, unexamined out of frames, in fine condition I.390 x 490mm. Howitt described these images as being, 'a complete, detailed and accurate description of the Wild Sports of the East'. (40)
