First title printed in red and black, folding engraved frontispiece, portrait of the author (slightly shaved), 54 illustrations (two full-page) (margins of 5*1 and 2S3 neatly repaired, rust-hole in M1, 3E2 holed with slight loss). Contemporary vellum (slightly soiled). -- SMIDS, Ludolph. Pictura Loquens; sive heroicarum Tabularum Hadriani Schoonebeeck Enarratio . Amsterdam: Adriaan Schoonebeek 1695. 8° (155 x 88cm.).
