Mounted coloured frontispiece and 11 plates by Millicent Sowerby illustrations. (Occasional spotting and offsetting, a few inner margins strengthened.) Contemporary vellum boards, upper cover with a painted design of two children and a rose bush, decorative painted spine, in Art Nouveau style, gilt fillet borders, top edge gilt, stamp-signed by CEDRIC CHIVERS OF BATH on lower turn-in, slipcase (rather worn, vellum lightly soiled).
