II, marg. tear strengthened to p. in vol. I, marg. stains in quire E in vol. IV). Mod. three-quarter brown cloth, gilt-ruled boards imitation snake leather, spines with raised bands. Illustrated with copper-engraved plates "avant la lettre" including a portrait of Cervantes by Collet after Coypel. Translation by François Filleau de Saint-Martin (1632-1695?), first published in 1677-Ref. Rius - Brunet I:- Cohen Prov. De Waepenaert (contemp. ms. entry and ms. note on verso of last page vol.
