Hansel & Grethel & Other Tales by the Brothers Grimm, 1920, twenty tipped-in colour plates, letterpress illustrations, free endpapers partially toned, original blue cloth gilt, spine ends a trifle rubbed, and cloth lifted a little at head of upper cover, in chipped and frayed dustjacket, with darkened spine, and two closed tears to head of front panel (repaired with adhesive tape on verso), 4to, together with Tales of Mystery & Imagination, by Edgar Allan Poe, Harrap, 1935, twelve colour plates, with captioned tissue guards, seventeen black & white plates, top edges black, remainder rough-trimmed, pictorial endpapers, original gilt decorated black cloth, spine ends a trifle rubbed, in price-clipped dustjacket, rubbed in places and with a couple of closed tears (one repaired on verso), rear panel with piece missing at top edge, 4to, plus The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Washington Irving, Harrap, reprinted 1928, eight colour plates, letterpress illustrations, pictorial endpapers, free endpapers toned, top edges gilt, remainder rough-trimmed, original gilt decorated green cloth, in rubbed and spotted dustjacket, with slight loss to spine ends, 4to (3)
