A double portrait of Princes Charles Edward Stuart (1720–1788) and Henry Benedict Stuart (1725–1807): the former, wearing red coat, white lace cravat and stock, blue sash and breast star of the Order of the Garter, the green sash of the Order of the Thistle visible under his coat; the latter, wearing pale blue coat, embroidered waistcoat, white lace cravat and stock, blue sash of the Order of the Garter, the green sash of the Order of the Thistle visible under his coat. Gold frame, with gilt-metal crown cresting to the top edge and pierced laurel leaf and draped swags to the lower edge, the reverse engraved Carolus Edwardus Wallice Princeps/ et/ Henricus Ebors Cardinalis Duxl/ Jacobi Secondi Mag: Brittan:/ Regis Nepotes./ Alexandro Tulloch de Tannachie/ Anno 1733.
