Funeral Register of Smith & Fudge Funeral Home, tall folio, Elmira, New York, 1909–1911, containing entries for the funerals of Jean Clemens (p. 36) and S. L. Clemens (p. 87). Together with: Certificate of the Registrar of Deaths for S. L. Clemens, original funeral record of his granddaughter Nina Clemens Gabrilowitsch, 12 photographs of the funeral home and a stable, a photograph of undertaker Philip B. Smith, 2 newspaper clippings, photocopies of an acknowledgement card from Clara Clemens to her cousin Mary Moffett and letter, dated 1910, and a photocopy of S. L. Clemens's will, dated 17 August 1908. The archive and register housed in a red cloth chemise.
