An archive relating to Douglas William Shore, Engineering Project Manager, including a Concorde registration plate engraved G-N8IAC BRITISH AIRWAYS BOARD LONDON ENGLAND B.A.e / SNIAS CONCORDE TYPE I S/N.100 004 U.S. TYPE CERT A45EU DATE OF MFR. 25 AUG 76, the data plate encapsulated in a perspex block with DWS logo and Concorde image bordered by a list of associated manufacturers, 15.5 x 23.5 cm, two certificates inscribed D Shore today flew in a production Concorde, Registration Number G-BOAC, 13 February 1976, signed by Brian Trubshaw, scrap albums containing copies of Concorde certificates of acceptance, another scrapbook with copies of airworthiness for Concorde export to America, a copy of an import certificate into America, various Concorde brochures, menus, luggage labels, posters and Concorde related items plus a box containing 28 Concorde 35 mm colour slides (some technical slides and other showing Concorde), another box of 35 mm slides of Boeing SST, including cockpit shots circa 1967, all contained in a wooden box stencilled on the lid 'Aircraft Documents SP 0444' (Quantity: 1) Concorde 204 first flew as G-BOAC in 1975. It was delivered to British Airways in 1976. Registered as G-N81AC/N81AC for a joint venture with Braniff for flights between Washington-Dulles and Dallas-Fort Worth in 1979. Back to G-Boac in 1980 when this ended. Last flight to Manchester for preservation in 2003.
