The contents include "I arrived here just in time to witness the Surrender of this Island without loss of a man - The spaniards burnt all their ships but one consisting of Four of the line and one Frigate - However I find it is stipulated by treaty that the Island is to make up the loss" , and "Another expedition is contemplated - no-one knows whether to Windward on the Main - or leeward among the Islands."
