Rapallo, 15th December, n.y., browned, slightly creased, signed Ted, with christmas greetings and instructions for the transformation or “hold-to-light” drawing of The House That Jack Built, dedicated to Shaw’s eldest son, and describing Craig’s confusion over a letter sent to him by (?George) Nash, the drawing in pencil, red and pale blue crayon, with touches of black ink wash on both sides, 210 x 330mm., dampstained, titled upper right of recto, inscribed Teddy or EGC Fecit, lower left, glazed both sides with tape at edges, n.d.
