CUNEGO, Domenico (1727-1794, engraver and publisher) and others. A collection of 120 etchings, engravings and mezzotint plates on 118 leaves. Rome: 1776-1793. 2 volumes, oblong 2° (various sizes). 120 plates on 118 leaves, by Cunego and others after D. Zampieri, G. Reni, G. Lanfranchi and others. (Some spotting or slight soiling.) Contemporary wrappers (slightly soiled). A FINE COLLECTION OF UNTRIMMED PLATES. The collection includes a number of unlettered ?proof plates, i.e. a series numbered 1-14 of classical ceilings/floors, a full-length portrait of Frederick the Great in a landscape with Sans-Souci in the background. Also included is Jean Volpato and Raphael Morghen's Principes du Dessein tirés d'après les antiques statues , Rome: Pagliarini, 1786 (cf. Cicognara 369) with text in French and Italian and 36 plates.
