Current ownership since 1988, MOT May 2019 - Replaced floor pans - Desireable pull handle model with aluminium bonnet This right hand drive , home market car , the"B" presents extremly well and is correct in specification with its correct issued number plate. In current ownership since 1988 and only two previous keepers showing a mileage of 24,500. Comes complete with hood , spare wheel and wheel tools. The car was restored many years ago by the owner with attention to the all important structural areas. New floor plans throughout , the underside being in superb order and it has just passed the MOT test wihout issue. Supplied with opitional extras of , wire wheels , heater , pack-away hood . Initially, the B was only available in Roadster form - the hatchback GT derivative not being offered until 1965. Suspension was by wishbones and coil springs at the front and a live axle mounted on leaf springs at the rear. Damping was by lever arm units all round. Braking was by discs at the front and drums at the rear. At launch, the model was powered by a three-bearing version of the 1798cc B-Series engine that produced 95bhp at 5,400rpm. However, with an eye on superior reliability, this unit was replaced by a five-bearing one two years into production.
