Original green morocco, spines with raised bands, compartments with gilt and painted floral sprays, gilt inner dentelles, pale green moiré doublures, top edges gilt, others rough-trimmed, original green morocco and pale green moiré slipcases. Original gouache on paper (475 x 352mm), signed ('Dali 1964'), framed and glazed (100m x 850mm). Provenance : Dogana di Milano (stamp on verso of gouache) -- 'Veritable Papier d'Arches' (blind-stamp on verso of gouache). ONE OF 99 AD PERSONAM COPIES ON HANDMADE PAPER: THE RARE TIRAGE-DE-TÊTE WITH THE ORIGINAL SIGNED GOUACHE BY DALI. The gouache is the original for the colour lithograph illustrated in vol. II after p. 248 in the 'Liber Primus Machabaerum'. With the publisher's signed certificate of authenticity. R. Michler and L.W.
