Danish Golden Age painter, first half of the 19th century Casa del Portinaio in the gardens of Villa Borghese in Rome. Unsigned. Oil on canvas. 34 × 44 cm. Eckersberg (1783–1853), Martinus Rørbye (1803–1848) and Jørgen Roed (1808–1888) have depicted the iconic house. The building was also called Casa Cenci. It does not exist today. Condition The canvas is relined. Crackles and retouches.
