lot of 9, all early to mid 19th century; includes a medium blue pearlware dinner plate with wild rose border and central scene of Indian boatmen and mosque; impressed anchor mark and Davenport; 9.75" diameter; PLUS a very rare pearlware deep plate with reticulated basketweave edge and central design with a variant of the Willow pattern; impressed mark TURNER and 5; 8" diameter; PLUS a rare medium blue small plate with floral and scroll border and central scene of herdsman and cows in front of castle; impressed and printed marks CLEWS with additional underglaze blue oval importer's mark J. Greenfield's China Store, No. 77 Pearl Street, New York; 6.25" diameter; PLUS a medium blue deep plate with rose border and central design of shepherds & sheep in front of thatched cottage with castle in background; impressed mark Davenport; 8.25" diameter; PLUS medium blue pearlware luncheon plate with oak leaf and acorn border & central scene of castle with cows and sheep in front of a lake; marked underglaze in blue CAVE CASTLE YORKSHIRE; 8.5" diameter; PLUS ironstone dinner plate with neo-classical central design and border of alternating cartouches with urns and classical goddess with Cupid; underglaze blue shield mark topped with eagle and Manufactured for Davenport Bros., 203 Greenwich St., N.Y.; 9.5" diameter; PLUS pearlware dinner plate with double floral border and central scene of gondolas & Italian villas; marked with blue underglaze beehive and urn mark and WR for William Ridgway; 10.25" diameter; PLUS medium blue salad plate with tulip and floral border and central scene of men in boat in front of thatched cottage & trees on shore; unmarked; 8.25" diameter; AND a medium blue pearlware luncheon plate with dragon & floral border and central Oriental scene of sampan and temples; impressed mark Davenport and initials JMH in oval; 8.25" diameter.
