Chromogenic print, sheet size 8 1/8 x 10 5/8 in., framed. Condition: Subtle toning, fading. N.B. David Hockney did not consider himself a photographer; rather he used photographic studies to inform his paintings. He used this medium spontaneously and sporadically, often to "recall some little detail" which would then be interpreted more freely.
