Day (Isaac) Scenes for the Young, or, Pleasing Tales..., first edition, engraved frontispiece, 4pp. publishers' catalogue at end, slight wormtrack to inner margin of frontispiece and title, frontispiece also with tear to edge and with ink inscription on verso slightly showing through (laid down), browned and shaken, old marbled boards, spine chipped, [Darton G233 (1); Gumuchian 2063; Osborne I p.242], Darton and Harvey, 1807 § Hughes (Mary, née Robson) The Orphan Girl; a Moral Tale, ?first edition, engraved frontispiece and 2 plates, 8pp. catalogue at end, contemporary red roan-backed marbled boards, [Darton H771; Osborne I p.267], William Darton, Jun., 1819 § [Dorset (Catherine Ann)] The Peacock "At Home": A Sequel to the Butterfly's Ball, ?second edition, engraved frontispiece and 5 plates after William Mulready trimmed with loss to heading of frontispiece, a little browned, mostly text, modern dark green crushed morocco, gilt, t.e.g., [Moon 214 (2 or 3)], for J.Harris, 1808 § [Lamb (Charles and Mary)] Mrs. Leicester's School..., fourth edition, engraved frontispiece, contemporary half green roan, M.J.Godwin, at the Juvenile Library, 1814, some light foxing or browning, mostly to the first and third, a little rubbed; and 2 others, children's, 12mo (6) ⁂ The first is rare, with only one copy listed by Library Hub (BL).
