Hand-coloured engraved twin hemisphere map of the world (506 x 565mm), surmounted by north and south polar projections, elaborately embellished with decorative allegorical vignettes representing the four elements at each corner. Window mount. Together with a set of Continent mpas, Accuratissima Europae Tabula. Multis locis correcta et Nuperrime edita ; Novissima et Perfectissima Africae ; Exactissima Asiae ; Recentissima Novi Orbis sive Americae Septentrionalis et Meridionalis Tabula . Amsterdam: R. and J. Ottens, [1726 or later]. 4 hand-coloured engraved maps of Europe, Africa, Asia and America, (each approx. 484 x 572mm). Titles set in decorative cartouches, compass roses. (Occasional light spotting.) Window mounts. A fine set of World and Continent maps by the Ottens brothers. (5)
