GLAHA 41548 Note: Alexander Koch, organiser of the House for an Art Lover competition, was editor of 'Deutsche Kunst und Dekoration'. A major article appeared in the September 1902 issue featuring the Mackintoshes' contribution to the Turin exhibition. The cover design by Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh is closely related to her contemporaneous decorative panels in gesso. The straightforward lettering incorporated within the design is most probably her work.
