° Kilburne, Richard - A Topographie, or Survey of the County of Kent...portrait frontis., headpiece decorations; old panelled calf. 1659; Philpott, Thomas - Villare Cantianum: or Kent Surveyed and Illustrated..... to which is added an Historical Catalogue of the High Sherrifs....collected by John Philpott... engraved text illus.; early 20th century maroon half morocco and cloth, gilt panelled spine, 4to. 1659; sold with John Boys's A General View of the Agriculture of the County of Kent (1796); and 2 other Kentish items. (5) £100-140 Condition: Kilburne - frontis laid down and cut close down lh. border, title soiled and other browning stains in text, clean tear pp.237/38, mispagination pp.250s/60s - but complete. (8), 422, (12)pp.; Philpott - lacking the map (as usual), title soiled, text stain throughout most of bk., old marginal notes pp. 381/2; late 19th cent. ownership at front and rebinding date; Boys - folded map, half title, errata leaf, old wrapps., good copy; Others - Lambarde's Kent (Chatham, 1826) lacking title; also the Kent section of another book, with engraved plates, sm. 8vo.
