(11x9"), photo-pictorial boards, jacket. First Edition, first issue (or printing). Monograph produced in conjunction with the Arbus retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art organized by John Szarkowski, the year following Arbus' death from suicide. This first issue or printing includes the photograph "Two Girls in Identical Raincoats Central Park, N.Y.C, 1969" which was suppressed in all subsequent printings. Lot Amendments Condition: Many short closed tears to jacket edges, most repaired with tape on verso, edges yellowed; a touch bumped and yellowed at volume spine ends and corners; very good.
