Browne. 20 parts in 19, 8vo, original blue-green pictorial printed wrappers, uncut, a few rebacked and/or with skilfull repairs to spines, some chipping and splitting along spine and edges, a few short tears to wrappers; red morocco cases by C. WALTERS. FIRST EDITION IN ORIGINAL PARTS, later issues of wrappers and text on some parts; wrapper on part 17 and 18 dated 1837, all others dated 1836, with the Pickwick Advertisers in 11 parts (of 16), and other inserted avertisements and announcement slips. Hatton & Cleaver, pp. 3-88: Grolier English 78. (2)
