DOD PROCTER R.A.1892-1972 ROSES signed; also signed and titled on the reverseoil on boardunframed: 30.5 by 25.5cm.; 12 by 10in.framed: 42.5 by 37.5cm.; 16¾ by 15in.Executed circa 1967. To view Shipping Calculator, please click hereCondition ReportThe board appears sound. The board has very slightly bowed towards the centre and at upper and lower right corners. There are possibly a few very fine lines of craquelure in line with the grain of the board, in the upper left quadrant, only visible with a raking light with one or two possible further more minor instances elsewhere. There is a fine vertical incision to the centre of the work, probably inherent to the Artist's working methods. There is some light surface dirt and one or two tiny specks of surface matter in places. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is presented in a gold painted wooden frame.
