Jean Doubdan, a French Priest, travelled to Palestine in 165152 through Greece and the eastern Mediterranean. His itinerary to Jerusalem includes a very detailed description of the Holy Land, as well as his narrative through the Greek islands. Doubdan provides extensive notes on the Christians of the Levant, their costume and way of life. He has returned via Cyprus and Italy and has kept detailed calendar notes.
