Wood-engraved title vignette, letterpress table, 34 hand-colored lithographed plates by and after J. G. Keulemans, printed by Hanhart. (Marginal dampstaining to text, faint marginal dampstains or cockling to about 20 plates, the cockling especially affecting last few plates and text leaves, occasional minor marginal spotting to about 10 plates.) Contemporary half hard-grain morocco, spine panelled and lettered in gilt, t.e.g., (worn, lower cover dampstained). FIRST EDITION. Ayer/Zimmer p. 178; Fine Bird Books 72; McGill/Wood 324; Nissen IVB 269.
