Three volumes, period brown calf, neatly rebacked retaining original labels. 8 x 4 3/4 inches (20.5 cm x 12 cm); 392; 312; 366 pp., with 60 folding plates and maps (N.B. the plate list in volume III indicates 61 plates in all, but one of these, plate 38, is erroneously listed twice, one in the first and once in the third volume).
