A white glass plaque in the form of an avian head in profile; the eye, beak and collar delineated in yellow glass and markings in blue. Glass, 20 grams, 72 mm. Very fine condition. Provenance UK private collection, acquired in the 1950's. Footnotes Horus' falcon form symbolises the bird's ability to see clearly from afar; the eye of Horus was widely used as a symbol of health and good fortune.
