EIGHT ROYAL WORCESTER FIGURES OF THE COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD after models by James Hadley , the figures wearing the clothes associated with their country and modelled standing or seated aginst wooden stumps on paved rectangular bases with canted fronts, glazed predominantly in ivory with painted flesh details and enriched in gilding (general wear to gilding), including John Bull (undecorated, hat, feet and base restored), A Scotsman, an Irishman, a Chinese, a Russian (base restored), a Negro (hat restored, base cracked), an Italian (restoration to head, legs and base) and a Yankee (head restored), impressed marks and model numbers, green and puce printed marks, some with registration marks, various date codes for circa 1880-84 6in.
