A signifiant Americanum, as it contains details of Raleigh's last voyage to America in 1618, and mentions his attempt to locate the fabled El Dorado. The book has been attributed to Francis Bacon but was composed by the commisioners (including Bacon) appointed to try him. He was beheaded on October 29, 1618. ESTC S 115419. C
